BrailleBack

Last updated on 21 October 2024

With BrailleBack now integrated into the Android Accessibility Suite, you can connect a refreshable braille display to your Android device via Bluetooth. BrailleBack works in conjunction with the TalkBack screen reader to provide an integrated speech and braille experience.
When using BrailleBack, the screen content is displayed on the braille display, allowing you to navigate and interact with your device using the keys on the braille display. Since braille display support is now part of TalkBack, the BrailleBack app is no longer needed and will no longer receive updates.
