An immersive 3D audio survival game. Craft, hunt, and explore a ruined world.
Important: This is an audiogame. The game is played entirely with sound and has no visuals. It is designed for the blind and visually impaired community. The screen will be black during gameplay—this is intentional. Headphones are recommended for the best experience.
The Story
After a global escalation in science and military technology, the world powers engaged in a catastrophic war. Nuclear explosions altered Earth’s atmosphere, and massive solar storms destroyed all electronic systems. Most of the planet flooded, leaving survivors with only medieval-level resources to endure the harsh new world.
Developed by AudioWander, Life in Nature is a fully 3D spatial-audio multiplayer game specifically designed with accessibility in mind for blind and visually impaired players. In this unforgiving world, survival is your only goal.
Survive the Wild
Every step you take matters. You must carefully manage your Health, Energy, Hunger, and Thirst. Gather wood to build fires, hunt wild animals like bears, boars, and wolves, butcher their meat, and cook it on a skillet or spit. Find fresh water, boil it in a handmade clay pot, and make tea to restore your energy. But beware—falling from heights, animal attacks, or severe hunger will slowly drain your life.
Deep Crafting System
With electronics gone, you must rely on your hands. Gather raw materials from the earth to craft essential tools. Combine items in your hands to weave fishing nets, forge swords and crossbows, or build a sturdy wooden shelter to protect yourself. From a simple stone spear to a complex boat to cross the oceans, everything is built from scratch.
Explore Unique Maps
Navigate entirely by sound and compass directions (North, South, East, West). Explore diverse environments including the Central Valley, dense Bear and Rain forests, scorching deserts, snowy mountain peaks, and deep oceans. Dive underwater to collect oysters or explore hidden caves. Listen closely to your environment—the sound of your footsteps and the ambient noise will guide you.
Challenging Quests & Puzzles
Embark on dangerous quests like “The Lost Miner,” “A Curious Bloom,” or “The Coral Crown.” Jump across perilous chasms, climb steep cliffs, dive into deep underwater tunnels, and search for lost notes and ancient treasures hidden across the world.
Multiplayer & Combat
You are not alone in this ruined world. Meet other survivors, trade resources, and communicate via radio. If you feel brave, activate “PK Mode” (Player Kill) or join or create PK arenas to engage in high-risk, high-reward PvP combat using swords, shotguns, and shields. Team up with trusted friends to hunt dangerous predators or survive the deadly PK map.

Accessibility and User Comments:
When you launch the game for the first time, it will begin downloading the sounds required to play. Keep your screen reader active during this process so you can hear the download progress. If you leave the game window for any reason, the download will pause until you return.
Once the sounds have finished downloading, the game will launch. At this point, you can disable your screen reader because the game is fully self-voiced.
During account creation, there is a button that sends an account verification code to your email address. After requesting the code, reactivate your screen reader, open your email, copy the verification code, return to the game, paste it into the appropriate field, and then disable your screen reader again.
You can also use a Bluetooth keyboard if the touch gestures are difficult to use. Keyboard shortcuts are available directly from the main menu.
Before playing, make sure you read the rules in their entirety. After finishing the rules, perform a two-finger swipe down with your screen reader to locate the Accept button.
Buying creditsThe main menu includes a button for purchasing credits. When you double-tap this button, reactivate your screen reader because the game opens Chrome or your default web browser to complete the transaction through PayPal or another supported payment service.
