LiveComics is a comic, manga, and manhwa reader that performs the page as audio rather than simply displaying it. Every speech bubble is voiced in character, with a separate narrator, while each panel can include its own sound effects and score. The reader advances panel by panel as the scene plays, allowing a whole issue to be followed without seeing the screen.
Library and imports
The app streams a free shelf of classic public-domain issues. Readers can also import their own CBR and CBZ files on the web and read them on the phone.

Accessibility and User Comments:
Tested with TalkBack. A comic is a purely visual medium, and this app performs the whole issue as audio: every line is voiced in character with a separate narrator, the drawn sound effects actually sound, and a score runs under the scene, so a complete story can be followed with the screen off. On navigation, the library, the store, the menus and the reader controls all work without a mouse and report themselves to the screen reader, and cover tiles are real buttons rather than tappable images. Turning a panel announces your position and nothing else, for example "page 3, panel 5 of 40", and that silence is deliberate so the screen reader does not talk over the narration. The panel's own words are available separately, in a hidden region named "Panel text" holding the description, the dialogue line by line and the drawn sound lettering; nothing in it is ever announced on its own, so a braille display can read it without fighting the audio. Dialogs take focus when they open and hand it back when they close, Escape closes them, screen changes are announced politely because the app never reloads the page, and segmented controls report which option is selected. Automated checks are clean, with axe reporting 0 serious or critical issues, though that is a floor rather than a claim about real use. For low vision, the reader crops to a single panel, fills the screen with it and then advances on its own as the scene plays, which is magnification you do not have to drive, with no pinching and no hunting for the next balloon. Known issues and limitations, stated plainly: the "Panel text" region is easy to miss, because it never announces itself and nothing in the reader tells you it is there; Tab is not trapped inside dialogs; the library's medium filter (All, Comics, Manga, Manhwa) does not report which option is currently selected; there is no audio-first onboarding, so signing up and importing a file still assume you can work an ordinary form; the collision between the screen reader and the narration has never been deliberately tested across a range of devices, so we cannot promise the ducking behaves the same everywhere; and NVDA on Windows and iOS VoiceOver have never been run at all, so with the phone app loading the same code as the website, Windows behaviour in particular is unverified.
