The Play Store is replete with various note-taking apps and it all boils down to what one is looking for. From those that have some capability of syncing to some of the cloud storages to those that don’t. Keeping that in mind, it makes it easier when it comes to picking one out of the myriad note-taking apps.
SimpleNote is not quite the traditional note-taking app, as it is more like Google’s Keep Notes. In other words, just like “Keep Notes,” SimpleNote syncs your notes across your devices regardless of the platform of choice. What this means, is that whatever you type on one device, is instantaneously available on your other devices, be it through the installation of the native app on the other device or simply using a browser.

Accessibility and User Comments:
The app is accessible and given what is going on with Keepnotes, SimpleNote is a very good replacement for Keepnotes. The app doesn't support accessibility actions.
Upon opening up the app after installation, the first screen you come to has two horizontal buttons near the bottom part of the screen with “Login” as the first one and the one below that is the “Sign-up” button. If you’re signing up for the first time, you need to tap on that “Sign-up” button.
Because SimpleNote isn’t a traditional note-taking app in the sense of the word, it requires that you first create an account in order to be able to take notes, without which, there’s no way of taking notes. This account-creation requires an email address. Upon providing an email address, one is sent a code that he or she can use to login. Once you get that code, you can login using that code or you can create a password with which to login instead of using a code every time you want to login. SimpleNote also offers you the ability to login with your WordPress account.
Features like collaborating with colleagues or publishing on your blog from the app are those that require subscription. You can create an account directly from the app or you can create an account on its website: simplenote.com.
You can group notes into categories and these are called “Tags.” So, when you create a note by tapping on that “New Note” at the bottom of the screen, you are taken to where you can type your note and also at the bottom-left corner of the screen, is an edit field to type the tag that you would like it to be in.
In my opinion, SimpleNote is a great accessible app, packed with lots of features while remaining very simplistic, as the name suggests.
