This version is the port of the familiar VLC media player to the Android™ platform. VLC for Android can play any video and audio files, as well as network streams, files shared on the local network and drives, and DVD ISOs exactly as the desktop version of VLC.

VLC for Android is a complete audio player that plays all audio formats, with a complete database, an equalizer and filters.

VLC is designed for everyone, it’s completely free, no ads, no in-app purchases, no spying, and it’s developed by passionate volunteers. All source code is available for free.
