Description

Issue Description: When using Gboard with TalkBack, swiping right or left to navigate to the next window (e.g., to access “Submit” or “Send” buttons) causes the cursor to move within the keyboard keys instead of navigating to the intended window. This issue first appeared in TalkBack 9 and remains unresolved in TalkBack 15.2.
– WCAG 2.2 Guideline: 2.1.1 Keyboard (Level A), 2.4.3 Focus Order (Level A)
Android Accessibility Guideline: Ensure consistent and predictable navigation patterns for users relying on accessibility services like TalkBack.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enable TalkBack on the device.
2. Open any app that requires text input (e.g., messaging app).
3. Type text using Gboard.
4. Attempt to navigate to the “Submit” or “Send” button using swipe gestures.
Expected Result: The cursor should navigate to the intended window (e.g., “Submit” or “Send” button).
Actual Result: The cursor moves within the keyboard keys instead of navigating to the intended window.
Note:
While this is likely a deliberate behavior, it is still an annoying one. Why it should be changed—or at least be optional—is explained above.

I agree. If one needs to actually find something on the keyboard, they might as well just explore it, isn’t it? This issue should be fixed.
