With Jieshuo, keeping one finger on the Delete button to remove several letters doesn't work with newer releases of Gboard |

Description With Gboard, one can press and hold the Delete key to remove several letters, without the need to lift and press the Delete key several times for each letter. However, with newer Gboard releases (see the Version field), pressing and holding the Delete button no longer removes several letters. Only the first letter is removed, and to remove the next letters, one should press the Delete key several times. |

Does it work with TalkBack, or is this an accidental letter overdelete? Also, have you disabled browse by touch and tried? I’m still on GBoard 13.0 at the moment.
Yes, it works with Google TalkBack consistently. It seems that the issue is with Samsung phones using One UI 6.1.1. Checking or unchecking Suspend browse by touch doesn’t help either.
