Cookie Voice Recipes is a voice-first recipe app built for blind and low-vision cooks. You can find recipes, have them read aloud, and move through ingredients and steps hands-free by voice, so you can cook without needing to touch or look at your phone.
Voice commands can be used to repeat steps or ask about ingredient quantities. The app was developed with input from blind and low-vision users, including user testing with vision rehabilitation teachers.

Disclosure: I’m the developer of Cookie Voice Recipes. The app was designed from the start for screen reader users. It has been tested with TalkBack. All buttons and controls have accessible labels, and the core cooking flow—including reading ingredients, moving to the next or previous step, and repeating a step—can be used entirely by voice without touching the screen.
