Accessibility and User Comments:

Fully accessible with very few unlabeled buttons

The app is accessible with TalkBack and is quite similar to its iOS counterpart. Apart from a couple of unlabeled buttons related to the equalizer, all buttons are labeled. The app displays 4 tabs at the bottom of the screen: Device, Record, Library, and Settings. The Device tab allows users to check or view their Shure-compatible microphones like the MV88+. If no Shure microphone is connected, the app will record using the phone's built-in microphone. However, in this mode most settings like compression, wind protection, stereo modes, etc., won't be available. The Record tab displays various microphone-related settings along with the Record button. The Record button, when pressed, will initiate recording and the Done button, at the top left corner of the screen, should be selected to stop it. The Library tab displays your recordings and the deleted ones. You can play or share them here. Finally, the Settings tab displays some controls related to the operation of the app itself, settings such as keeping the screen on while recording is in progress, etc.

Last Tested App version and Android version:
