Accessibility and User Comments:
WhatsApp utilizes screen reader actions for messages and chats. Through these actions, you can reply, delete, forward, add chats to lists, lock chats, among others. This makes activating message- and chat-related options more convenient for many users.
It's worth mentioning that sometimes in longer chats or groups with many messages, flicking left or right might result in the cursor skipping or jumping over some messages. As of this writing, the situation has markedly improved with the latest WhatsApp release, but it's a glitch to be aware of.
Speaking of buttons in WhatsApp, the app has very few, if any, unlabeled ones. The app's bottom tabs are Chats, Updates, Communities, and Calls. Regardless of the focused tab, the Settings window can be activated by selecting the More options button on the top right corner of the screen.

I’m currently having an issue where WhatsApp phone calls do not show up like regular callss. If I am outside of WhatsApp, TalkBack does not show me an answer, decline, or message button. Double tapping with two fingers will not answer the call.
