Last updated on 3 December 2023

Today I’m going to show you how to set up an Android phone, primarily of a Galaxy

First power on the device. Usually the power button is on the right side of the device, hold that down for around four seconds this will power on your mobile
Wait around 30 to 70 seconds and then press the volume buttons for between three and five seconds. If it tells you to do it again, do so.

It will ask you to choose your language once you’ve done that press start

Choose your Wi-Fi network. skip this step if you don’t want to use a Wi-Fi network

Next you’ll be asked to copy apps and data, or if you want to start from scratch.

Then you go and sign in with your Google account, if you don’t have a Google account you can create a Google account, however if you do not want to use a Google account double tap with one finger on the skip button

Note that your android experience may be limited if you don’t Use a Google account

You’ll be asked to set up biometric authentication, this is optional

You can also select a screenlock, which is also optional but highly recommended

Next you’ll proceed to enter your Galaxy account details. If you don’t have a Galaxy account you can create one, you can also skip the Galaxy account step but also your experience maybe partially limited.

Agree to all of the terms and conditions, and you should be set from there
