Starting with Android 15, Samsung no longer provides a native option in system settings to disable “Direct Share” — the feature that shows frequently used contacts in the share menu. If you find this cluttered or unnecessary, here’s a quick way to turn it off using Good Lock.
Steps to Disable Quick Share:
- Install Good Lock
Open the Galaxy Store and search for Good Lock You can also download Good Lock from Google Play. Install the app if you haven’t already. - Enable the Home Up module
Inside Good Lock, scroll down and tap on Home Up. If it’s not installed yet, the app will prompt you to download it. Once installed, go back and activate it. - Access Share Manager settings
In the Home Up module, tap on the switch next to the Share Manager. Turn off Direct Share
Toggle the Direct Share option to Off. This will remove suggested contacts from the share panel.

That’s it! Your share sheet will now show only apps, not suggested people — just like before. Samsung may reintroduce a native toggle in future updates, but for now, Good Lock is your best friend.
