The following list outlines all gestures available in the Prudence Screen Reader, applicable to devices running Android 7 or higher. Multi-finger gestures are supported only on Android 12 and above, and certain gestures are limited to specific functional interfaces.

Single Finger Swipes
- Swipe Up: Move to the previous item in the selected reading control.
- Swipe Down: Move to the next item in the selected reading control.
- Swipe Left: Previous onscreen item.
- Swipe Right: Next onscreen item.
Single Finger Back-and-Forth Swipes
- Swipe Up then Down: Previous reading control.
- Swipe Down then Up: Next reading control.
- Swipe Left then Right: Scroll back.
- Swipe Right then Left: Scroll forward.
Single Finger Angular Gestures
- Swipe Up then Left: Home screen.
- Swipe Up then Right: Main menu.
- Swipe Down then Left: Back.
- Swipe Down then Right: Main menu.
- Swipe Left then Up: Overview (recent apps).
- Swipe Left then Down: Screen search.
- Swipe Right then Up: Control center.
- Swipe Right then Down: Notifications.
Two-Finger Gestures
- Swipe Up: Zoom in (smart camera interface).
- Swipe Down: Zoom out (smart camera interface).
- Swipe Left: Switch recognition language forward (smart camera interface).
- Swipe Right: Switch recognition language backward (smart camera interface).
- Tap: No action.
- Double Tap: Play or pause.
- Tap and Hold: Start or end selection mode.
- Triple Tap: Start reading from the next item.
Three-Finger Gestures
- Tap: Main menu.
- Tap and Hold: Screen search.
- Double Tap: Copy.
- Double Tap and Hold: Cut.
- Triple Tap: Paste.
- Swipe Up: Previous reading control.
- Swipe Down: Next reading control.
- Swipe Left: Move to the previous item in the selected reading control.

Four-Finger Gestures
- Swipe Up: Previous onscreen window.
- Swipe Down: Next onscreen window.

All the above gestures, except those specific to the smart camera interface, can be modified and reassigned by the user.
