Easily transfer files between your devices using telegram

In this content, I would like to introduce the method of exchanging files via telegram between two different devices logged in with the same account.

Most of you may have multiple devices such as tablets, computers and phones and you wish to exchange files between these devices.
There are many different ways to do this, you can transfer files manually with USB drives, mail or Bluetooth, but this can be both time consuming and not possible on every device and occasion.

Thanks to Telegram, it lets you save time and you can easily exchange files even between two different operating systems such as Windows and Android.

The name of the method that makes our lives so easy in the digital world is Telegram’s saved messages feature.

You can use the saved messages method in different ways, such as exchanging files and sending voice or text messages.

FILE TRANSFER using saved messages:

Assuming that you want to transfer data between two different android devices logged in with the same telegram account.

Find the file you want to send, double click and hold. Swipe or move your finger around the top corner of the screen and find the share option and Double click.

In this screen, you’ll see the apps under share sheet. Swipe and find Telegram and double click on it.

Here you are presented with your contacts and chats, groups and channels we have joined and the option of saved messages.

Swipe to find saved messages and tap to select. then send the file by clicking the share in a chat button in the lower right corner of the screen.

Sending voice or text messages via saved messages:

If you haven’t sent files or messages to saved messages yet, there will not be a chat window called saved messages on the chats screen, so how do you access it?
Find and launch Telegram, find the navigation drawer menu in the upper left corner of the screen and double click on it, or swipe from left to right with double finger.

Here you’ll find the saved messages. Tap on it and you’re good to go.

Just like chatting in a group or with a friend, type and send your text or link as a note and you’ll be able to access them from your other device. You can also record a voice message and it will stay there till you delete it.

Important notes

The size of each file sent to saved messages must be 2 GB for free users and 4 GB for premium users. An unlimited number of files or messages can be sent to saved messages. Even if you need to remove Telegram from your device for some reason, the messages you send there will remain saved in the cloud unless you delete them manually..
