Quick Tip: How To Stop Your Battery From Draining When Using Jieshuo Screen Reader

When you set up the Jieshuo screen reader for the first time, you may be asked to disable battery optimization for the app. The downside is that this can cause your battery to drain more quickly when Jieshuo is enabled. Although the screen reader has its own power-saving feature, it is not enabled by default. Here’s how to enable it.

  1. Open Jieshuo settings. You can either do this from the Jieshuo main menu or from your home all apps screen.
  2. Find “Advanced settings”.
  3. Find “Power management”.
  4. From here, find the first option called “Power saving” and enable it.

If you are having issues with significant battery draining, enabling this feature should help fix the problem.

    Hi Marina!
Nice tutorial, and nice audio guide!
    Great job!
It’s amazing for those who are looking forward to it. You see, I never tried to see if this’d help me with my battery consumption, but on S25 series and other phones using S25 or S25Ultra firmware, Jieshuo drainning battery is a real issue.
I’ll enable it and report back, but until then?
Great job! From enthusiast to enthusiast, great job!
    And those speakers?
Those phone speakers were quite good. Was that a 2025 Samsung phone by chance?
