If you’re receiving calls from unknown numbers on WhatsApp and this has become frustrating for you, now it is possible to get over it by making a single change in your privacy settings.
With the latest update, WhatsApp has brought the feature to silence unknown callers. In this post, I will try to explain how you can silence unknown callers within your privacy settings.
To silence unknown callers do the following;
- Launch WhatsApp.
- click more options / three dots menu at the right top.
- tap settings, then find “Privacy”
- Here, tap on “Calls, Silence unknown callers.”
- On the next screen, you will be presented with a brief explanation about the feature. Press “Learn More” to read more about it, and tap on the off switch to toggle it to the “On” position.
By following the mentioned steps, you won’t get notified when you receive a call from an unknown number, but you will later be able to see the numbers calling you in the Calls tab.
